as it sets in the horizon
On the ocean as it shimmers on the waves,
awe struck with this splendor
It causes me deep emotion,
it glows like a golden pearl
Amidst the waves that swirl,
this makes my heart surrender.

You are sitting just close enough
for me to feel your warmth,
The orange hues of the sky
swirl into a daze and I disappear,
With the last of the sun rays
I float through the clouds,
But I can still feel your warmth
on my smooth skin,
It puts reassurance in my heart
that you are there to keep me warm.
